Marianne Estate is known for the quality of its terroir and that certain wine aficionados refer to as the “Golden Mile” of Stellenbosch.
The “Marianne” is one of the national emblems of France. She represents the values of France: Liberty, Equality and Brotherhood. Mr. Dauriac, the owner of Marianne Estate, chose the name “Marianne” as a symbol of the French heritage of our property and to commemorate the Huguenot roots of South African winemaking.
